October Odyssey: Breast Cancer Awareness

To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month and our fall event series, October Odyssey: Art, Awareness, and Astronomy, we will be hosting an enlightening and empowering panel discussion in the TMC3 Collaborative Building in Helix Hall on October 1st at 4:30 p.m. The panelists will explore the intersection of breast cancer awareness with the community. This unique event will feature a distinguished panel of experts who will delve into the critical aspects of breast cancer detection, treatment, and survivorship.

Moderated by Kelli Burroughs, MD, F.A.C.O.G, Department Chairman Obstetrics/Gynecology Memorial Hermann Sugar Land, this discussion will explore imperative topics in breast cancer, such as innovation and research, psychosocial support, the impact on families and caregivers, and more.
