Prevent, Detect, Protect: Colorectal Cancer
#DYK March is Colorectal Cancer Month.
Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when detected early, yet it remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths. This panel brings together leading gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, and cancer prevention experts to discuss the latest advancements in early detection, treatment options, and risk reduction strategies.
Join Dr. Milena Gould-Suarez (Baylor College of Medicine), Dr. Nancy You (MD Anderson Cancer Center), Dr. Benjamin Musher (Baylor College of Medicine), and Carrie R. Daniel MacDougall (MD Anderson Cancer Center) for a discussion on screening guidelines, emerging research, and the importance of advocacy. The event will also feature Chase Jones, a young-onset colorectal cancer survivor, who will share his personal journey and the importance of raising awareness for early-age onset (EAO) colorectal cancer.
This event is open to patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members looking to learn more about colorectal cancer prevention and treatment.
